A bowl of congee, a bowl of mee siam (dry) & a packed vegetable rice..
Today was having packed lunch with two of my colleagues..J & N..Usual..Nothing new..we were just sharing our usual lunchtime gossip..N then mentioned about marriage as she was getting married and we started talking abt blogs..N commented that she was not going to continue with her blog anymore as she doesnt have time to do it these days..Nowadays, her blog would jus be 2 or 3 liners…I being the curious one asked her why…afterall she was the one who introduced me to bloggin 2 years ago and got me started on blogspot..however, all the html thingy jus drives me crazy and work just kinda pile up on me..after which i just gave up after some time..decided to opt for something simplier like this which has a template..ehehe..:P Back to what i was saying..N commented that having no time would mean abandoning her blog..J of a few years older than we are commented that she could not believe putting her personal life online for all to view..She just could not accept it..I just commented that you dont have to share all parts of your life..you can just share what you want..But she just commented that she could not reveal her personal life to strangers..that is just too private..
So when did this whole bloggin thing comes abt? Everyone of us keeps a form of diary or so..i still remember having that diary of mine sitting somewhere in the dark corner of my drawer..-_-..still remember those days where i even addressed my diary entry as sorta of a letter to someone..whenever i feel down..whenever i have fights with my ex-bfs..when things just dont work for me or simply just brood in my mind..somehow these days, all these thots became public! Public on the world wide web where simply anyone around the globe could read what is troubling that person or what happened in that person’s life..So is this a good thing or not? Probably if you are pissed off with your bf and he is absolutely clueless about it..then blog would be another means for him to know it..i have heard of a story where a bf actually din know abt him pissing his gf off..but after reading her blog..he finally realizes that he did something wrong that pissed his gf off..But hey this would only work if the other party knows abt the blog addy! If he doesnt know..then this blog thingy would be useless…ahhaa..But somehow bloggin has brought abt flame for some peeps! Like the two ladies who became famous bcos of their blogs..seriously i have no idea of their names as aint a big fan of theirs..ehehe..:P But N did showed me once of this Ah Beng blog which is simply hilarious..all the vulgarities, broken english and singaporean stuff that he talked abt..it is just so hilarious!
Well, blogging would have its way of entering someone’s life..Somehow i believe you, as the blogger, have the right to choose what you wish to share with the world and what’s not..:)
