Special day?
Was just thinkin to myself when i was on the train jus now..gosh..my bday is coming in a mth’s time and very soon, i will be a year older..So what have i achieved so far that i am proud of? Let me see…Well, i have been in my first job for at least 2 years now..and probably runnin…as compared to the rest of my frens, i guess i am the one who has been in the marathon for the longest time ever..so is that a good thing or not? Well am enjoyin what am doing so i guess no harm in stayin in it further more..:P We are going to have our bi-annual conference next year and it is scheduled to be held in March 2007..J commented “Hey..hopefully you are still around to help out..” ahah..that is kinda funny..and i commented that that is the funniest thing i have heard..-_-
So going to grow a year older..shucks..that kinda brings memories of what happened in my last bday..Durin my last bday..a really sweet guy fren of mine actually bought a small little slice of cake and waited for me under my void deck..a really sweet gesture as i didnt quite expect it…Where was i? Hmm..i think i was workin late or something and he actually called me to ask me where i was..told him that i’m on my way home etc and he kinda hung up on me unexpectedly..at the moment, seriously i think that he was being really rude..i was just talkin half way and he just hung up on me..after a while, he called me back and asked me where i was..so told him that i was near home etc..and when i reached my void deck..i heard a distinct voice calling me…Maddy…I was on the phone, receiving another bday wish from another dear fren of mine who was in Thailand at that time..Another sweet gesture of calling me when he was based in Thailand..:) And there that guy was..with a little slice of cake wanted to celebrate my bday with me..gosh..at tat time, i was taken aback and shocked..but found the gesture really sweet…no one guy has done that for me..not even my bf of a few years back then..gosh..was i touched..
However, you might have thot that we have gotten together right after that sweet gesture? Well, apparently not..i did not really fancy him much so..oh well, we dint really work out..was dating for a while but nothing really works out..
But hey, that gesture really struck me as that was the only first thing that came to my mind when i thought abt my bday last year..hehe..:) Oh well, i kinda lost contact with him..and well, a romantic guy like him wouldnt have lacked any gals that he like..:)
So this year..wat can i expect? well, i dont think i can expect any guy waiting under my void deck with a cake hoping to celebrate my bday with me..thats kinda drama but hey, some guys are really romantic one leh..:) And since this year, it will be on a Friday..i guess i will be outta partyin and celebrating my bday in a BIG WAY!! 
Ehehe..:) Bday wishes? hmm..was jus thinking of compilin a bday wish list so that my frens who had been big fans of my blog would know wat i want!!! ahah
