Maddy: Life of a Beach Bum & Bikini Babe Wannabe!

Work has been piling up since Monday..Could be due to me being away from work on Monday and Tuesday afternoon and so pretty much work left there to finish up..Futhermore, my new boss has just left the company after a week in company..she was a really dyanmic woman who has lots of creative ideas..so bascially she has made some recommendations before she left and now that she left, i would have to do the follow-up..Pretty much plans i must say..

And was just assigned a really huge project by my big boss..My new boss was actually the one overseeing this project but since she has left, i have to take over..and i must say it is a really huge project! and it involves me flying to another country! hehe..Well i am so looking forward to the travelling since it has been a really long time since i last travelled!! Lets see….The previous occasion was last April when i went to Dubai for a week for some event as well..And this time, i’ll be going down to Beijing to overseee yet another event..some launch event that my company will be having..opening of a new showroom in Beijing so bascially i am in charge of organizing the event right from planning to execution and planning of my own travelling schedule..So my frens in China, who knows? We might be able to catch up with each other!! Probably going down to Shanghai also if there’s a need for me to go down to discuss with my colleagues over there!!
Am pretty excited about it actually..event organizing which is my favorite! And with the new plans that my ex-new boss has for the company which are really good and cool, i am so looking forward to it..i guess having her coming in for a while was a good thing as well since i was given some direction..In the past, my supervisior was pretty much busy with her sales and marketing function so basically was left alone..with not much of direction..So thought that having a new boss, i would be able to have some direction..but then..shes gone..so am pretty much left alone again..*sighs*

But hey i am looking forward to the event and also upcoming plans that are in store!!

Today is 9th August, Singapore’s 42nd bird-day..How time flies..The last i remembered about celebrating in a big way was when i was in Primary School and the 25th Bird-Day when the theme for that year was One People, One Nation, One Singapore..Wow..been such a long while and i still remembered!! Ahaha..:P Thats probably because i had taken part in some ND competition back in school then and won first prize!!
ALrightys so tonight i am going to attend the inaugural NDP held at Marina Bay..My dearest B has gotten a ticket and have asked me to go..Seriously i am so not a big fan of NDP at all..Every year when it was telecast on TV, i will always be cooped up in my room playing my computer game or simply just chattin to my frens on MSN..Caught the las year’s parade coz one of my crush back then was in the contingent so i caught only that part..hee hee ;P And i did see him on TV! ahaha..;P

So this year, i get to go..dinch want to go at all but coz there was only 1 tix and my mum dinch wanna go..So my B was psychoing me to go like it was the first time held in Marina Bay and many peeps want to go blah blah blah..so basically that means i have a chance that i cant missed! So am going but my B will be fetching me home though..ahaha..:P He being part of the Singapore Protective Force is involved in NDP so he has the tix to the parade..

Well, i’ll be all alone when im there since my B will be with his men..so basically i will be sitting there..hais..And wanted to go to Sentosa in the morning but weather was gloomy so never get the chance to even step out into the sun..*sighs*

Comforting thing is that at least i get a ride home where i’ll avoid the crowd..even though going to the parade would be a big problem…dinch really wan to go in the first place since there will be a major crowd and i bet it will be super duper crowded!! And not really a big fan of crowds though..

iTunes, iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie, iCal, iChat..All the is and what have you..well everyone..I have bought a iMAC and i am actually typing on it right now..my first blog entry with my newest iMAC..Still not really used to it even though i am an Apple user..Always using my lappy and not a desktop so right now am still trying to get used to the keyboard..

Why an iMAC? Seriously i think i got influenced by my workplace! Used to use Windows but ever since i started working at VK, i was a MAC user and like what my Creative Director said…MAC is addictive..and i seriously do agree with him..After using it at work, i jus so used to it that i decided to get a MAC when i was considering to get a comp…My dear B was psychoing me to get a HP desktop so that he can play games on my computer when he comes over..well, am so not goin to get that since he will totally ignore me if he will to play games at my home! And he being a windows user, was so unused to my computer when he first came over to use it..but right now, he is just so used to it..:) Almost got psychoed by him to get a Windows computer until i visited the Courts at Tampines and saw the irresistable iMAC and his plan had foiled even though he was buzzin beside my ear with HP HP HP…

Right now everything is still okay..everything is white and nice and new..and my B even commented that it was so pritty after he installed for me..hee hee..:) So i did not make a wrong choice after all..ahaha..But boy was the screen huge! It is like widescreen and i feel like i am goin blind from the bright white screen!! ahaha..:P Havent really tried watching DVD on this..but i bet it will be wonderful!! ;P One fantastic thing about this computer is the camera that comes with it..this means that i can webcam and chat at the same time! -_-
