Maddy: Life of a Beach Bum & Bikini Babe Wannabe!

Cant help but blog this stupid incident that just happened at work..N not around at home coz she was on MC so no one to bitch this thing about..My annoying jr is so annoying!! Argghh..Well, we have this document in place which we would need translated into Chinese and bcos she is from our dear mainland CHina, obviously she is the choice to do all these..so the document was like 7 pages and she had to finish translating by tomorrow afternoon as my GM needs to have a final look before i can forward the document to some journalist..So being unhappy that she has to do all these kind of stuff, she complained and dropped an email to my GM.

Quote & unquote:

“Ok. Will do that.

Hi GM (name has been removed to protect privacy), just to clarify is translation clearly defined as under my scope? Because I have been doing quite a number of translating and vetting work. The time spent on this is actually not short. If it is indeed in my scope, then please define it clearly. If it is not, I would appreciate all translation work needed my assistance to be limited to no more than 2 pages.

And now with such a tight timeline for a 7-page document, it means all the other works I’ve been instructed to do, like Board Meeting data preparation and Academy have to halt to meet the timeline. Please understand I’m not trying to push this job away, I will do it this time and will meet the timeline. But for long term, I don’t think this is productive.”

Wah very serious leh..actually wrote this email to my GM! never die before lor..hello this is a small company and we do not have distinct job scope lor! if you wan distinct job scope, go join an MNC lah..wat the fish are you doing here?! Just bcoz she is helping my very big boss to do some of the work, she thot she can siam all the work..and jus bcos she is dating my Director’s wife’s nephew and calling him “Uncle (surname)” at work, she think shes some mighty big shot..Excuse me miss, this is work lah..u think yr family business huh? u think you can choose and pick your work issit? Can die you know..somemore shes like what? join the company only for a year and already avoiding all sorta of work..i dont even dare to make a noise when i was asked to do things that are not under my job scope man! can die..

But my GM was very diplomatic by replying:

“I agreed with u. Unfortunately such work crops up from time to time.
Technically speaking, would need your assistance as u r the Board. Secretary. We keep it short.

Next time, we will get shenzhen or shanghai side for help or external agencies.

Okie with u? I know everyone is loaded. And I certainly appreciate all that u have done. U can resurface the translated doc for this by tom evening. I will look thru at 9 pm in the hotel.”

He, being a bit bitchy yet trying to angkat her at the same time..ahaha..But hey i bet he has taken a totally different perspective of her now..she also lah..tink shes some mighty big shot issit? Even my GM has to do job that is not in his job scope!
