* Worry *
Less than a month to my TP test and certain elements worry me.
First – weather. Till date I have yet to drive in a rainy weather. Hm is it a good or bad thing? Seriously I don’t really know but I would very much prefer to have driven on a rainy day! Coz my test is like in Dec where many peeps said that it is actually the rainy season so it might actually rain on my test date. Gosh. I am hoping that it wont but if it does, there is nothing I can do. Driving in rainy condition is different from driving on a real sunny day or even at nite! I have heard my instructors saying that if you can drive at night, then driving in the day would not be much of a problem since visibility is very much lower at night. But on a rainy day, it is totally different from at night. So every time that I am going for my lesson, I am like praying real hard that it will storm! But well luck is not wif me. It will be either the rain has stopped or right after my lesson. * sighs * Cant it just rain for once really really heavy during one of my lessons so that I can have the experience? I wouldn’t want to really experience it on my test! Am so keeping my fingers crossed about that.
Second – my circuit courses. My parallel is improving every time I go for my lesson but other courses such as directional change and S-course kinda suck now. Particularly directional change. Dunch know why but somehow I suck in it. Weird coz it was never a big problem for me. It was sorta a problem but was much lesser than parallel. Somehow it is the reverse now. Don’t know what really happened but I am just so not zai with it lor. And my vertical parking. That also sucks. Hmm..i think it is somehow linked to directional change so when I suck at the latter, I suck at the former too. Vertical parking would be the moving more to the right before reversing. This is to prevent from hitting the kerb when reversing. But hey somehow I don’t know why I cant seem to be able to position to the super right. Heh.
Third – changing lane. Have been taught the lil tips and techniques to change lane but somehow I still suck. The worry of being knocked and stuff like that kinda make me suck at this part. * sighs * When I want to change lane, I did my usual safety checks but somehow am worried that the car behind me wouldn’t let me change to his lane. I would only dare when the car is like way back behind. But when he is like 2 cars away from me, I would be kinda worried. Sighs. If this fails, then I would really suck at my test lor coz this is like a crucial part of driving. : (
* sighs * am glad that I still have some time before my test. So I still have time to brush up on the above lacking skills. I just have to keep practising and practising lor. Nothing much I can do since now it is entirely up to me and no one can help me. All my instructors can do is to offer me techniques and lil tips to help me do better. Other than that it would be entirely up to me.
One point I do realize is that once you have learnt “how to drive” in a sense, the instructors are more relaxed now. Hee hee..well, that’s how I feel of my instructors. They tend to worry less about you hitting other cars etc. Hm, they do worry lah. But less now I think coz in a way you sorta know how to drive now as compared to the very beginning when you are still trying to learn how to function a car. So most of them are like more laid-back at the passenger’s seat. Relaxing and enjoying the bumpy ride. Well, at least that is for mine. Haha..:P Chit chatting to yer. But always on the constant alertness that if anything will to come out suddenly they will be all ready to brake or advise you accordingly. So who said that guys cant multi-task? I think this particular group can! Hee hee ;P
Oh well, so now its practise, practise, practise and hopefully I will improve over time!
